We are seeking three staff for our busy practice in Glanmire.

1) Legal Secretary

This is a permanent role involving the following

  • Liaising with clients, banks, construction professionals and legal professionals on a daily basis
  • Answering telephone calls and diary management.
  • Dictation typing
  •  Scanning, photocopying and general file management.
  •  Supporting Solicitors with various administrative tasks including preparation of court briefs and filings

The Candidate will have:

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Organisational skills.
  • Excellent Computer Skills and ideally will have experience of using case management systems
  • The ability to work both on own initiative and within a team environment will be key
  • A professional approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage own work load essential.
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role.

2) Typist

This is a permanent role involving the following

  •  Answering telephone calls and diary management.
  • Dictation typing.
  • Scanning, photocopying and general file management.
  • Supporting Solicitors with various administrative tasks

The Candidate will have:

  • Excellent Computer Skills and ideally will have experience of using case management systems
  • The ability to prioritise and deal with a high workload
  • Strong proficiency in typing ideally with a suitable qualification in this regard.
  • A willingness to learn on the job and progress professionally.

3) Bookkeeper

This is a permanent role involving maintaining accounts using the Practice Evolve case management system. It will involve inputting data, reconciling accounts, creating invoices and reporting to the Principal. The ideal candidate will have prior experience of using the Practice Evolve system and will also be experienced in maintaining small business accounts using Excel.

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It is a part time position for 1-2 days per week. The location for the position will be at our modern offices in Glanmire, Cork City.
