the positions available are as follows:

General Practice Solicitor

The successful candidate will support the existing solicitors and will have a varied (and interesting) caseload.

The role will initially involve the following:

  • Managing District Court family and civil litigation files and appearing in the District Court as and when required
  • Assisting the existing team in managing Circuit and High Court family and civil litigation files, briefing barristers, attending on barristers and ensuring cases progress in an efficient and businesslike fashion.
  • Assisting the existing team with purchase, sale and re-mortgage files.
  • Drafting wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney

Legal Executive

The successful candidate will support the existing solicitors and will have a varied (and interesting) caseload.

The role will initially involve the following:

  • Preparing motions for High Court and Circuit Court matters.
  • Preparing briefs for Counsel
  • Diary Management
  • Assisting solicitors in assembling documents, such as contracts for sale, enduring powers of attorney and closing documents
  • Dictation typing

We do not envisage remote working being an option for the applicant given the nature of the work. While we do not require any formal legal executive qualifications, the applicant should have a experience in at least four of the above and should have a high proficiency in IT systems, and be comfortable with working in a largely digital environment. We are open to full and part time applications. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Secretary/typist

The role will initially involve the following:

  • Liaising with clients, banks, construction professionals and legal professionals on a daily basis;
  • Answering telephone calls and diary management;
  • Dictation typing;
  • Scanning, photocopying and general file management;
  • Supporting solicitors with various administrative tasks including preparation of court briefs and filings.

The candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and should be proficient in IT systems.
