The firm of O’Dowd Solicitors LLP was originally established in October 2009 by Micheal O’Dowd to provide top quality legal services to the people of Glanmire and further afield. Despite being established during a particularly bad economic period, the firm had grown year on year and is now a busy small/medium firm with keen attention to detail and an excellent track record. in 2023 we are opening a second office in Fermoy to service better the needs of our clients in North Cork

Micheal established the firm in 2009.

He is the firm principal, and specialises in Data Protection, Family Law, Commercial Conveyancing and Litigation.

Deirdre has over a decade of experience in high value Litigation and Family Law matters and joined the firm in 2014.

Deirdre specialises in Medical Negligence, Personal Injury and Family Law cases.


Lawyer (Foreign Qualified)

Bruna is a qualified Lawyer in Portugal & Brazil and holds a degree in law.

In O’Dowd Solicitors she works primarily in immigration, commercial litigation and family law matters.


Financial Controller

Trevor has worked both inhouse and in private practice as as a Certified Accountant. In O’Dowd Solicitors Trevor assists the management team in keeping all financial aspects of the firm in order.


Legal Secretary

Carmel joined the firm in 2021 having worked for many years in a medium sized practice in Co. Cork. She is an experienced legal administrator with extensive knowledge of practically every area of law, but mostly works on probate and property/conveyancing matters.
